Glasgow Conference Videography at the AFSP Conference: Three Jobs at Once
On 15 and 16 October we were in Glasgow for the AFSP Conference, run by the Association for Family and Systemic Psychotherapy, working for Mint Events. This year's theme was "Come as you are".
Mint events have booked us for several years now, and this job came with three things to deliver at the same time.

Glasgow conference videography: the brief
A highlight video of the conference
Event photography across both days
Edited footage from the livestream cameras covering the workshops and lectures
Three jobs, one table backstage

Atanas spent both days switching between all three: filming for the highlight video, taking photos, and editing footage from the livestream cameras across the workshops and lectures. All of it happened on site while the conference carried on around him. A table backstage became his base.
Working this way means the organiser isn't paying for separate photo, video and edit crews, and the livestream footage is already being cut while the event is still running.
On the photo side, that meant the keynotes on the main stage, the full hall, delegates asking questions from the floor, the on-stage conversations and the moments between sessions.

Back in the edit
Once we were home, the work moved to the desk: going through every clip from two full days, picking the best moments and shaping them into something people will actually want to watch.
Thanks to Mint Events
Thanks to John Bastock and the team at Mint Events for the trust over the years, and for having us back again.
