Filming the JPL Flavours Two-Day Launch Event: Bold Moments, Brilliant Flavours

In 2025, we were commissioned to provide video-only coverage for a two-day event for JPL Flavours, delivered through an experienced event agency partner.

The brief focused on speed, impact and strong visual storytelling — with content required both during and immediately after the event.

The Brief

• Two-day live event

• Video production only

• Lean setup with minimal disruption

• A 2-minute highlight film to be screened on a large screen at the end of the event day

• Additional edits for post-event marketing and social media

Production Setup

• 1 shooter

• Drone included (all our operators are fully licensed, CAA registered and insured)

• 4K video capture throughout

• Dynamic handheld and aerial coverage

• Multiple shooting locations across a large site

The Challenge: Large-Scale Build & Transformation

One of the main challenges was documenting the decor and site build, which took place across a very large area.

To capture this effectively, we deployed:

• 3 time-lapse cameras

• Multiple angles

• Coverage spanning the full build process

This allowed us to visually compress hours of work into powerful sequences that showed the scale, complexity and transformation of the space.

Delivery & Results

• 2-minute highlight video screened on the big screen the same day

• Strong audience reaction — guests were visibly impressed

• Final long-form video delivered in 4 business days

• Additional short edits for social media

• A separate promotional video created for the event agency

Outcome

• Both the client and event agency were very happy

• We were rebooked for an upcoming event as a direct result
